What’s been happening:

We have lived in Texas since 1972 and love it. No snow or cold temperatures like Pa. Still working as a civil engineer in Austin. Arrived here in 1972 to design the Alaska pipeline and never left. Have had such an interesting career that included stints as Airport Engineer for the City of Houston, Assistant County Engineer for Harris County which has four million people but primarily as a consulting engineer. Neatest projects included international terminal at Bush Intercontinental Airport, 23 story criminal justice center, 15 bridges, hundreds of miles of roads and over one million feet of utility lines. My wife, Connie, has been an educator for over 20 years and once was named Elementary Teacher of the Year in Houston. We have two daughters, Laura and Lisa. We have two grandsons, Wade and Logan, ages 3 for both. My passion is tennis. I have been on teams over the past 10 years that have gone to national championships and actually won it one year. I am a huge Nittany Lion fan of all sports. Football fans in the southwest admire Joe Paterno. He is a saint like Darrell Royal. My visits to PSU over the years have indicated to me that the university and the town have improved in appearance over the years. Well done, PSU and State College.
